A way of being with the land.

Poet’s Acre is a way of life, a home, a studio, a workshop, a Forest Garden Project, a collaborative venue, and a fledgling plant nursery, set in the heart of 2000 acres of organic farmland.

Our 15 acre site is centred around a forestry shed, an evolving forest garden, an orchard, woodland clearings and coppiced areas, a fire circle, ceremonial space, and covered outdoor area.

Poet’s Acre nestles alongside the ancient woodland of Swanton Novers National Nature Reserve, North Norfolk.

The call to adventure…

At Poet’s Acre we annually host a small number of very special events and land-based workshops.

We are interested in collaborating with facilitators from a wide range of disciplines such as, wellbeing, healing, personal development, permaculture, forest gardening, art, performance and country crafts.

If you want to create a land-based event or workshop in a unique and intimate space, please do get in touch!

A beautiful place to connect, with the land, yourself, and others

Tim Sanderson - Founder

“ I love the land here at
Poet’s Acre.

For the past 20 years, my relationship with this place has deepened and grown. I am constantly experimenting with ways to live symbiotically and harmoniously with the land, always learning from the busy community of life here.

I’m often moved and astounded by the vital goodness that is freely available through the experience of Nature connection.

Every day reveals so much beauty, nourishment, and the abundant wealth of the living land. I’m fascinated by the shifting weather and seasons, the endless and subtle changes in the landscape.

I feel great pleasure seeing people light up and relax when they spend time at Poet’s Acre. I love to collaborate on special events with interesting creators and healers, finding ways to weave the land into their practice and offerings.

I want to devote the remaining years of my life to working with the land here, and sharing the simple joy of being in Nature with others.
